Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 global version with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip passes Geekbench performance test

Samsung will unveil a new generation of bendable smartphones this month. The Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 was tested in Geekbench 6.1 the day before.

Here's What We Know

The global version of the smartphone with model number SM-F946B has passed the performance test. It features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 12GB of RAM and runs on the Android 13 operating system.

It scored 1,845 in Single-Core mode and 5,083 in Multi-Core mode. Back in the first quarter of 2023, the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 for the North American market passed the performance test. The smartphone with model number SM-F946U scored 2014 and 5022 points respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 will be unveiled at the end of July this year. Along with it, a more affordable Galaxy Flip 5 model is due to debut.
