Wi-Fi 7, batteries up to 4,950mAh and charging support up to 27W: New details about Google's Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones have emerged online
Data miner and insider @Za_Raczke continues to share details about Google's new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones.
Here's What We Know
This time, the whistleblower reported that the new devices will support Wi-Fi 7. The gadgets will also be equipped with different batteries. The Google Pixel 8 will get a 4,485mAh battery (4,270mAh in the Pixel 7) with 20W wired charging and 12W wireless charging support.
As for the Google Pixel 8 Pro, it will have a 4,950mAh battery (4,926mAh in the Pixel 7 Pro), 27W wired charging and wireless charging with the same power. It's also known that the top-of-the-series model will boast UWB (Ultra-wideband) technology, which will be able to detect the position of devices by proximity.
When We Can Expect It
The smartphones will be released in the fall. It is rumoured that the gadgets will be sold in 17 countries.
