One Su-34, one Su-35S, two Mi-8MTR-1 and one Mi-8: Ukrainian Air Force confirms it destroyed five targets in Russia with MIM-104 Patriot SAMs on 13 May
On 13 May, Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said that five enemy air targets had been shot down in the Bryansk Region. As it turned out, Ukrainian air defence was involved in the incident.
What is known
The Ukrainian Air Force has published a video showing the MIM-104 Patriot air defence system. According to the markings on the unit's casing, it was this complex that shot down 5 airplanes. We are talking about one Su-34 fighter, one Su-35S fighter, two rare REB Mi-8MTPR-1 and one Mi-8 helicopter.
Incidentally, this SAM system has destroyed more than 30 enemy air targets in total, including the Kh-47M2 KINJAL hypersonic/aeroballistic missiles.

The MIM-104 Patriot is an American surface-to-air missile system developed by Raytheon. It consists of an airborne interceptor missile and a high-performance radar system. Ukraine currently has two divisions of MIM-104 Patriot air defence systems in service.
