nubia unveils Red Magic Gaming Tablet with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and 144Hz display, priced from $555
nubia, along with the smartphone duo Red Magic 8S Pro and Red Magic 8S Pro+, has unveiled a gaming tablet. It didn't take long to come up with a name - Red Magic Gaming Tablet.
Here's What We Know
The tablet has a 12.1" IPS display. The matrix has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a frame rate of 144 Hz and a sensor poll rate of 240 Hz. The brightness of the screen is 600 nits and the contrast ratio is 1500:1.
The nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet is based on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor with up to 3.2GHz. The chipset is complemented by 12/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The UFS 3.1 storage capacity is 256/512GB respectively.
There are two cameras in the tablet's arsenal. The main one has a resolution of 13 MP and the front one has a resolution of 16 MP. The novelty also gets four speakers, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2 and a 10,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Like smartphones, the tablet is powered by Android 13 with RedMagic OS 8.0 proprietary firmware. The official price of the nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet in China was $555 and $635 depending on the storage capacity.
In addition, a Bumblebee Edition in yellow will be available for $690. In addition to the tablet, a keyboard and stylus are available for $85 and $55 respectively.
