Honor X50: 120Hz AMOLED curved display, 108 MP camera and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor for $190
At today's launch, Honor unveiled the inexpensive Honor X50 smartphone, which despite its low cost, has pretty good specs.
Here's What We've Seen
So, the Honor X50 gets a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1200×2652 pixels. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone is quite shock resistant. In addition, the casing is IP53 protected against moisture and dust.
At the top of the screen, there is a cutout in the centre for the 8-megapixel front camera. The main camera is shaped like a circle and consists of a 108 MP sensor with an f/1.75 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM. The 5,800mAh-capacity battery supports 33W fast charging. The smartphone runs the Android 13 operating system with the proprietary MagicOS 7.1.1 shell.
Here's What It Costs
Sales of the Honor X50 will start in China on July 14. The 8/128GB version costs around $190, while the 16/512GB version costs $275. There's a choice of black, blue, orange and gradient colours.
Incidentally, the Honor X50i also debuted today.
