Older Samsung Galaxy Note 10 flagships start receiving July security update
Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Note 10 family of smartphones in 2019. Nearly four years after its announcement, they continue to receive software updates.
Here's What We Know
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is receiving an update following the newer flagships Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23, with the July security update now available in Europe. It is already known that users from Switzerland can install the update.
The standard version has the model number N97xFXXS8HWF3, while the Plus variant is N976BXXS8HWF3. The July security update fixes several dozen vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the software.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ hit the market with Android 9. In 2021, Android 12 became the latest version of the operating system for both flagship smartphones. Since then, they have only received security updates.
