Czech Republic to train Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters and give combat helicopters to AFU

The Czech government is preparing a new military aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on 7 July. Ukraine will receive combat helicopters. Fiala did not say what kind, but most likely it is the Mi-35. The new aid package will also include 100,000 units of ammunition.

By the way, Fiala also added that the Czech Republic will participate in the programme for training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets. In addition, the AFU will receive special simulators, which will allow to train pilots in Ukraine.
