You will need to spend at least 12 hours to complete Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy
Earlier this year, Frozenbyte and THQ Nordic announced the release of Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, the next instalment of the 2.5D co-op platformer. The developers are trying to expand the game in all aspects: from a new adaptive difficulty system to improved combat and progression. However, many people will definitely be interested in the question of how long it will take to complete the game.
Here's What We Know
The gamingbolt publication spoke with Frozenbyte's marketing manager Kai Tuovinen and he said that Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy will last "at least" a dozen hours, although the average duration of the passage is likely to be much longer. Various factors, such as the choice of difficulty, will also affect the time required to complete the game:
"It’s hard to estimate, because of varying experience and skill levels, but I would guesstimate at least 12 hours for a playthrough. It is probably quite a lot more for the average player though. It really depends on the difficulty settings you select, as those can have a massive impact on the challenge", Tuovinen said.
The previous game, Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, also lasted around a dozen hours, but Frozenbyte is giving the option to extend that time for their newest creation. It will be interesting to see how much longer the new game will be.
When We Can Expect It
Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy will be released this summer for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
