The command of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published on Facebook a video of the combat operation of the French CAESAR SAU.
Here's What We Know
According to the artillerymen of the DShV the self-propelled launcher has proven itself in combat. It boasts high-speed shooting, excellent cross-country ability, as well as the ability to fire high-precision shells.
By the way, such French SAU's were given to Ukraine by Denmark. In total, there are 19 of them in service with the AFU. The Danish version of CAESAR is based on the Tatra 815-7 chassis with 8x8 wheel arrangement. The system differs from the French modification by its increased weight, improved armour and 36 shells instead of 18.
