Physical versions of Hitman: World of Assassination will be available on 25th August, but only on PlayStation 5

The World of Assassination trilogy has been a great success for both the Hitman series and IO Interactive in general, and the successful conclusion of this stealth franchise was officially confirmed when the developers released the final content after the release of Hitman 3 earlier this year and renamed it "Hitman: World of Assassination". Soon, this package will also be available in a physical format, but only on one platform.

Here's What We Know

IO Interactive has announced a collaboration with Solutions 2 Go to release a physical version of Hitman: World of Assassination exclusively for PlayStation 5. The release is scheduled for August 25th and, in addition to the game itself, will include a set of 3 collectible art cards featuring locations from the entire trilogy: the ICA training centre from the original Hitman, the Miami racetrack from Hitman 2, and the Dubai skyscraper from Hitman 3.

Additionally, a very limited number of signed art postcards from the IO Interactive development team will be included in the physical copies - 50 for Europe and 50 for the Americas.

Whether IO Interactive also plans to release a physical version of the game for Xbox Series or previous generation consoles is currently unknown.

Either way, PlayStation 5 owners will be interested to keep an eye on this news, especially since it combines all three Hitman campaigns in one package.
