Impressive variety: Baldur's Gate III will have over 17,000 endings!

We already know that Baldur's Gate III will feature 31 sub-races and 46 sub-classes, as well as over 600 spells, 2000 characters, and 174 hours of cinematics. Every decision you make will have consequences for the game world and lead to different endings. However, how many endings can you get?

Here's What We Know

According to Chrystal Ding, a Larian Studios employee who participated in the testing, the game's ending has at least 17,000 variations! It is important to note that this does not mean that the main storyline will have 17,000 different endings. Similar to Divinity: Original Sin 2, it is possible that an epilogue will be shown that will reflect the consequences of your various choices during the story.

The exact variations remain a big question mark, but Ding notes that she has been working on the final scripts for about six months, which promises exciting and varied endings for players.

When We Can Expect It

Baldur's Gate 3 will be released on 3 August for PC and 6 September for PS5 (with Digital Deluxe Edition owners enjoying 72 hours of early access to the first act).
