WhatsApp app is now available on Samsung Galaxy Watch and other Wear OS smartwatches

After months of beta testing, Meta has announced the official release of WhatsApp on smart watches.

Here's How It Works

This means WhatsApp users will now be able to start new conversations, reply to messages and receive calls, as well as reply with voice messages, emojis, plain text and quick replies from the watch. And if you also have an LTE-enabled model, you won't even need a smartphone to do this.

The WhatsApp app is available for smartwatches running Wear OS 3. This includes the Samsung Galaxy Watch (starting with the 4th generation) and watches from other manufacturers.

This is no longer a beta, but a stable version. The rollout has started worldwide.
