Starbreeze Studios has published system requirements for Payday 3 - it won't run on a toaster
Payday 3 is two months away from release, and over the past few days we've learned a lot about the upcoming shooter, from difficulty settings to stealth mechanics, but it's time to find out if your PC can even run the game.
Here's What We Know
Starbreeze Studios has updated the game's Steam page to reveal the recommended and minimum hardware requirements.
So, in order to run Payday 3 you need to have at least the following:
- Operating system: Windows 10/11;
- Processor: Intel Core i5-9400F;
- Video card: Nvidia GTX 1650 (4 GB of video memory);
- RAM: 16 GB.
And in order to play the game comfortably, it is recommended to have:
- Operating system: Windows 10/11;
- processor: Intel Core i7-9700K;
- Video card: Nvidia GTX 1080 (8 GB of video memory)
- RAM: 16 GB.
The availability of an Internet connection is also noted, since, as previously reported, the game will require it even in a single player mode.
When We Can Expect It
Payday 3 will be released on 21 September on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. Pre-orders are already available - for the Standard Edition, you will receive a costume with a mask and gloves; for the Silver Edition, you will receive all the content of the Standard Edition, as well as another mask, the ability to play 3 days earlier and a Season Pass for 6 months; and if you pre-order the Gold Edition, you will receive all the above bonuses plus an additional Statue of Liberty mask, gold gloves and a 1-year Season Pass.
