Diablo IV developers have admitted their mistakes in the latest game update and promised to release patch 1.1.1, which should fix everything

During the last l ivestream, the Diablo IV development team admitted their mistake with the game update that caused a wave of discontent among players. The problem was that in their attempts to balance the game, they went too far and started changing important aspects of the game such as critical damage, experience, etc.

Diablo IV Community Manager Adam Fletcher admitted:

"It’s not the greatest play experience for players out there. We don’t plan on doing a patch like this ever again. We hear you loud and clear."

The team announced the 1.1.1 update, which should be released in the next two weeks. It will increase the number of monsters in Nightmaer Dungeons and Helltides, fix excessive experience between level 50 and 100, increase the storage capacity for elixirs, and reduce the cost of changing character characteristics by about 40%.

The developers also announced their intention to hold more frequent Campfire Chats, where they will share their thoughts on the game's development and evaluate player feedback on updates. The next broadcast is scheduled for 28 July, where details about the 1.1.1 update will be announced.

Diablo IV is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC.
