Sony has unveiled the WF-1000XM5 TWS headphones with Dynamic Driver X speakers for $299
Sony has announced completely wireless headphones. The new generation model is named Sony WF-1000XM5.

The headphones received 8.4 mm Dynamic Driver X drivers. According to the manufacturer, the new drivers are able to provide more detailed sound compared to the last generation model.
Sony WF-1000XM5 are equipped with proprietary noise cancellation processors. The Japanese company said that the headphones use the best chips available in the world. Also, each independent module received three microphones.
The HD Noise Cancelling Prover QNe 2 and Integrated Processor V2 processors are responsible for processing 24-bit audio. Sony claims that the WF-1000XM5 has gained support for LDAC, SB3, AAC and LC3, while DSEE Extreme technology provides real-time quality enhancement for compressed music audio files.
The Sony WF-1000XM5 are now 25 per cent smaller and 20 per cent lighter than their predecessors. The housing has IPX4 moisture protection. The headphones have a run time of 8 hours without active noise cancellation, and the battery extends it three times. A three-minute charge is enough for 60 minutes of use, and a full charge takes 90 minutes.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Sony WF-1000XM5 has been priced at $299. The headphones are already available for pre-order and shipments will start on 26 July 2023.
