Missiles for HIMARS, Patrioit and NASAMS, Stryker armoured personnel carriers and Hornet UAVs: the USA will transfer a new $400m arms package to Ukraine.

The USA has officially announced a new military aid package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

The new aid package is designed for $400 million. It includes:

• Ammunition for Patriot, NASAMS and HIMARS SAMs;
• Stinger anti-aircraft systems;
• 155mm and 105mm artillery shells;
• 32 Stryker armoured personnel carriers;
• TOW anti-tank missiles;
• Javelin and other anti-tank systems and missiles;
• Hornet UAVs;
• Hydra 70 air-to-air missiles;
• Tactical air navigation systems;
• Over 28 million rounds of small arms ammunition and grenades;
• Night vision and thermal imaging systems;
• Spare parts and training equipment.

Arms deliveries will begin shortly.
