ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 X3D - a gaming laptop with Ryzen 9 7945HX3D, GeForce RTX 4090 and 240Hz IPS QHD display

ASUS has announced the ROG Strix SCAR 17 X3D gaming notebook. The model received top specifications, including NVIDIA graphics and AMD chip.

Here's What We Know

ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 X3D has a QHD IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The panel supports 240Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and NVIDIA G-SYNC. Response time is 3ms (GtG), DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage is 100% and the diagonal is 17.3".

The laptop is equipped with NVIDIA's flagship GeForce GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop graphics card from the Ada Lovelace generation. It has 16GB of GDDR6-type VRAM and a frequency of up to 2090MHz, while power consumption reaches 175W.

The silicon centre of the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 X3D is the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D chip. The processor has 16 cores, 32 threads, a frequency of 2.3-5.4 GHz and integrated graphics Radeon 610M on RDNA 2 architecture. RAM is up to 32GB and SSD storage capacity is up to 2TB.

The ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 X3D will go on sale in the US in late summer 2023. The cost of the laptop has not been specified yet.
