The neighbours have defeated Musk! San Francisco residents forced Twitter management to remove the scandalous X logo from the roof of its headquarters
The rebranding of Twitter was not appreciated not only by users of the social network.
Perhaps the greatest inconvenience it brought to the residents of San Francisco, who were "lucky" to live near the headquarters of Elon Musk.
Here's What We Know
Residents of neighbouring buildings filed mass complaints with San Francisco's building control department because the huge X logo perched on the roof of the building not only looked strange, but also glowed extremely brightly at night.
Neighbours Twitter posted on ... Twitter (how ironic!) video proof that the huge X was causing them a lot of inconvenience and interfering with their rest.
The city services supported the citizens' outrage and confirmed that such shining violates all building codes and obliged Musk to remove the logo from the roof.
At first, the company's management refused to comply with the order of the city authorities, but later, according to CNBC, the design was removed.
For such arbitrariness, Musk will pay a fine and reimburse the Department of Building Control and Planning.
