Testers will get plenty of content: Path of Exile closed beta will include the entire game
As it became known from the recent ExileCon by Grinding Gear Games, Path of Exile 2 will definitely not be released this year, and the beta test is scheduled for 7 June 2024. And it seems that players will have plenty of content, as the beta test will include the entire game.
Here's What We Know
Director Jonathan Rogers told IGN in an interview:
"It won’t just be like one act or something like that. It’ll be the whole game, and we’re going to run it for as long as we would run a league at least, so months so that we know for sure what the economy looks like, what everything looks like once it shakes out. ‘Cause it does take quite a while for people to kind of realize what the most efficient things are, what they’re supposed to be doing"
Rogers calls it the "most efficient" and "most fun" way to play, and also noted that it is very important for him to achieve a balance of skills in the characters, although it will be a very difficult task.
Path of Exile 2 will be available on PC, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
