Germany refuses to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with TAURUS long-range cruise missiles. German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has once again commented on the situation.

Here's What We Know

The head of the defence ministry said that Germany will not transfer TAURUS to the Armed Forces of Ukraine because of the special range of the weapon system. Thanks to these cruise missiles, Ukrainian aircraft could strike enemy positions within a radius of 500 kilometres.

Boris Pistorius mentioned that the USA did not supply Ukraine with long-range weapons either. The minister stressed that Germany's priority is to provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with armoured vehicles, air defence systems and training for military personnel.

We would like to point out that Ukraine previously received Storm Shadow and SCALP cruise missiles from the United Kingdom and France, respectively. The carriers are Su-24 aircraft. It is not officially specified that it is likely that the European countries transferred missiles with a maximum launch range of about 250 kilometres.
