Interceptors for Patriot, high-precision projectiles for HIMARS and Javelin anti-tank missiles - US announces $200m military aid package for Ukraine

The US Department of Defence has officially announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. The amount totalled $200m.

Here's What We Know

Like other relatively small packages, the new tranche is primarily focused on the supply of munitions. Specifically, GMLRS for HIMARS, interceptors for Patriot surface-to-air missile systems, 120mm tank ammunition, 105/155mm artillery shells, and Javelin and TOW missiles.

In addition, the military aid package includes more than 12 million rounds of ammunition, ammunition and demining equipment, spare parts and maintenance. Speaking of equipment, the US will give the Ukrainian Armed Forces 37 vehicles for transporting equipment.
