Insider: OnePlus Open foldable smartphone will debut in late September or early October
Recently we wrote that OnePlus postponed the presentation date of the foldable smartphone Open. Now an insider has shared new release dates for the novelty.

So, according to the insider @heyitsyogesh, the global presentation of the device will take place in late September or early October. By the way, the reason for the postponement of the event was not only the replacement of the display supplier, but also a court case between Nokia and OPPO.

According to leaks, OnePlus Open will be equipped with two displays: the main one with a diagonal of 7.8 inches and a resolution of 2K, as well as an additional one at 6.3 inches. Both panels will have Samsung's AMOLED matrix with a 120Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus Open should be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The gadget will be powered by a 4,800mAh battery. It will get support for 67W charging. Cameras in the novelty will be four: triple main 48 MP + 48 MP + 64 MP and single frontal 32 MP. The smartphone will come to the market with OxygenOS Fold interface based on Android 13.
