It would seem that Minecraft, which is the flagship among all Microsoft games, should be one of the first to receive a native version for the next generation consoles, but Xbox Series owners have been playing the game through the backwards compatibility programme so far, but it seems that Microsoft still wants to correct this misunderstanding.

Here's What We Know

According to VGC, Minecraft has been included in the list of games that will receive Xbox Series support in Germany. The updated version should add features that will be specially adapted to the current generation consoles.

The development team from Mojang has not yet shared any specific details about the game's update for the current generation of Microsoft consoles, so we can only guess what we can expect. However, one of the expected innovations is the ability to reduce the time it takes to load the game or create a world thanks to the much more powerful processing power of the Xbox Series, as well as the use of fast SSD storage in the new consoles.

Of course, when the update will be released is anyone's guess.
