Since the release of Android 8 Oreo has been almost four months, but in Google statistics the share of the new operating system remains below 1%. The eighth version took only 0.5% of the market, and a month ago this figure was only 0.3%.

Who is in the trend?

Since most manufacturers still use Android Nougat, for the last month the share of the seventh version grew by 2.7% and reached 23.3%. This was not enough to squeeze the current leader Marshmallow (29.7%) and even the three-year Lollipop (26.3%), although both start to take positions. Android KitKat (13.4%) and Jelly Bean (5.9%) lost another a few percent. Old people Ice Cream Sandwich and Gingerbread are not in a hurry to leave the rating.

Little Oreo

Today Android 8 Oreo is available on Google devices (Pixel and Nexus series), several smartphones HTC and Sony. Flagship family Huawei Mate 10 also work on a new version of the "green robot", but in the models for the Chinese market there is no Google Play store, and devices without search engine services are not included in official statistics.

For comparison, iOS 11 currently employs 59% of Apple's mobile devices, another 33% are still on iOS 10, and the rest of the versions is only 8%.
