Until now, Monobank customers had the opportunity to refill the card in PrivatBank terminals, but on December 20 there was a commission of 0.5% of the payment amount. The mobile bank team reacted quickly to the changes and promised to compensate the commission in the form of cashback.

What do they offer?

According to one of the founders of the project, Dmitry Dubilet, Monobank charges cashback immediately after the payment, and so that users do not lose on taxes when withdrawing funds to the main account, the compensation will be slightly more than 0.5%. The standard cacheback limit of 500 hryvnia (maximum size for one month) does not apply to these operations.

Customers can still replenish the card without cash in cash through iBox terminals or from cards of other banks (except PrivatBank) in the Monobank application.

Not the first time

At the beginning of the month PrivatBank introduced a commission of 0.5% when transferring funds from their cards to a Monobank account, but it could be avoided in Privat24 by selecting Universal Bank from the My payments menu (the mobile application is launched on its basis). Alas, now this trick will not work.

The other day Monobank also presented a whole series of commercials. Most of them resemble Apple's spring advertising campaign , but this is the most plague one:
