Following the Galaxy Watch 5: Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic received Wear OS 4 with One UI 5 Watch

Samsung recently released the Wear OS 4 update with One UI 5 Watch for the Galaxy Watch 5. Now even older watch models have received the firmware.

We're talking about the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic smartwatches from 2021. The system was released with build numbers R870XXU1HWH3 and R890XXU1HWH3 respectively. The software has already started rolling out to devices in waves in the US. In other countries, the OTA will be available soon.

With the software update, the watch got the ability to connect to a new smartphone without having to reset the settings. The developers have also added the ability to customise calls, improved sleep tracking, updated SOS and more. Read more about all the improvements on the manufacturer's website.
