Give the kitty an Oscar! A feature-length animated film based on the popular indie game Stray is being made

Stray, an indie game about a stray cat in a dystopian world, was released in 2022.

The game became a hit and gained huge popularity among gamers. Therefore, it is not surprising that they decided to release a film adaptation based on Stray.

Here's What We Know

According to Entertainment Weekly, Annapurna Animation, which is one of the divisions of Annapurna Interactive, is working on the creation of a full-length animated film about the adventures of the cute hero Stray.

It is not yet known whether the film will be a verbatim retelling of the game's plot or will tell a new story in the same universe. Annapurna Animation is not ready to give a release date for the film either.
