Manufacturer VR-helmet Oculus Go with Snapdragon 821 was Xiaomi

At the CES 2018 exhibition, the head of the VR-unit Facebook Hugo Barra officially confirmed this information and reported new details of the gadget.

Oculus Go does not require a connection to a powerful computer or smartphone. The device is equipped with its own display with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, based on which smart phones LG G6, Xiaomi Mi5s and Google Pixel first generation. A wireless remote control is provided for control.

Production of new items commissioned Xiaomi, and in China, the company will release a special version of the VR-helmet under its own brand - Mi VR Standalone. It has received identical features and compatibility with the Oculus Mobile SDK, and the software will be optimized for Chinese users.
