According to Google's announcement on CES 2018, their voice assistant will now work on the Android Auto platform. This information seemed strange, because you could control the voice and up to this point. Apparently, the previous implementation was an ordinary voice search. But now after the update, there will be a huge list of tools and functions available at the wheel.

Google Assistant Features

First of all, drivers will be able to manage a smart house with the help of a voice. For example, turn off the lights near the house, close the garage or turn on the music in the car, depending on the preferences of each user. Yes, some features were still available in the previous version, but it was not a full-fledged Google Assistant. Perhaps soon we will see more interesting ways of interacting with the machine.
