Official announcement of HTC U11 EYEs: full-screen midrange at an unreasonable price

HTC introduced its first smartphone in 2018. HTC U11 EYEs is a medium-level device with two front cameras, face recognition technology, a large battery and a frame-free screen.

Main characteristics

The smartphone received a 6-inch Super LCD 3 screen with a resolution of Full HD + (2160 × 1080p) and an aspect ratio of 18: 9. HTC U11 EYEs has a 12 megapixel camera with UltraPixel technology, as in the HTC U11. The front camera is double 5 Mp + 5 Mp with a wide viewing angle. It has a beauty mode, HDR, video recording in Full HD, and there is also the possibility to do selfie in portrait mode with a bokeh effect. In addition to face recognition technology, a fingerprint scanner was placed on the back of the smartphone.

Snapdragon 652 and 4 GB of RAM are responsible for the performance of the new products. The smartphone has 64 GB of internal storage, but it can be expanded with microSD cards. The battery in U11 EYE is the same as in U11 + at 3930 mAh, and there is support for Quick Charge 3.0.

Price and start of sales

HTC U11 EYEs will be sold in several colors: red, silver and black. From now on, you can pre-order in China for $ 512. The start of sales is scheduled for January 25. So far there is no information on entering the global market.
