OnePlus is a young company in the smartphone market. And from the moment of the announcement of the first device "to keep afloat" was very difficult because of the big competition. Since 2014, the company has not disclosed its sales statistics and its revenues. But it is also clear that there was no earnings, and if it was, it was minimal. But everything changed in 2017.

Some statistics

According to the founder of the company Pete Lau (Pete Lau) for the Telegraph , sales of smartphones have grown. And for 2017, OnePlus registered $ 1.4 billion. That is twice as much as in 2016. Now the producer and investors have started to make a profit. Pete Lau promised that from now on the company will be "transparent" with respect to its revenues.

Not surprisingly, the year 2017 was very successful for OnePlus. The flagship OnePlus 5 received many positive reviews from various publications. And OnePlus 5T, which came out in the fall, broke records in terms of sales and became the best-selling smartphone manufacturer.

Future plans

Now OnePlus sells its devices without binding to operators in the US and Europe. But in many countries operators play a very important role. Therefore, negotiations with some companies are already underway. This will help increase sales and affect the popularity of the brand in many countries.
