Famous insider Evan Blass published on his page on Twitter the date of announcement and pre-orders, and that's how sales of future flagship Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + began.

When to expect

According to the source, the Korean giant will present Galaxy S9 and S9 + as early as February 26. That is, the first day of the exhibition MWC 2018, which will be held from February 26 to March 1 in Barcelona. On March 1 Samsung will open pre-orders for flagships, and on March 16 long-awaited devices will go on sale.

What is known

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + will receive model numbers SM-G960 and SM-G965. The first will be equipped with a Super AMOLED display with curved side frames of 5.8 inches, the second with 6.2 inches. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + will be equipped with a fresh 10-nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor (for the US market) or the same brand new Exynos 9810 chip for other regions. Galaxy S9 will receive 4 gigabytes of RAM, Galaxy S9 + - 6 gigabytes of RAM. Both models will provide 64 gigabytes of built-in flash memory and a slot for microSD cards. Galaxy S9 will probably receive a new camera technology with a variable aperture at f1.5-2.4, as well as a slow-motion video mode with a high frame rate. Also there is a 3.5 mm audio jack and AKG speakers.
