Samsung W24 - Chinese analogue of the Galaxy Fold 5 with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage for a price of $2340
Samsung has unveiled the Samsung W24 smartphone in China. The model is the Chinese analogue of the Galaxy Fold 5, which debuted about two months ago in the global market.
Here's What We Know
In technical terms, the Samsung W24 has only two differences from the Galaxy Fold 5. Firstly, the company has dropped the 256GB and 512GB storage versions. Secondly, the variant with 1TB of storage received 16GB of RAM instead of 12GB.
The rest of the parameters are the same. Thus, Samsung W24 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with up to 3.36 Hz, a main camera with a resolution of 50 MP + 10 MP + 12 MP and two front modules at 4 MP (under the display) and 10 MP. The battery capacity was 4400 mA*h.
Samsung W24 received two screens. The main display has a diagonal of 7.6", and the size of the additional one was 6.2". Both are based on Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels with 120Hz frame rate and HDR10+ support.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Samsung W24 comes with an S Pen stylus and a branded case. The smartphone has been priced at $2340. In comparison, you can buy the Samsun Galaxy Fold 5 in the 12/1024GB variant in the US for $2160.
