South Korea is going to transfer armoured vehicles for demining the territory to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The information was shared by local publication Chosun. We are talking about two vehicles K600 Rhino (aka K600 CEV). This was personally requested by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Previously, South Korea has already transferred humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including metal detectors.

Flashback

The K600 Rhino is an armoured demining vehicle. It is based on the K1A1 tank. The vehicle is fitted with a trawl from the British company Pearson-Engineering and an excavator boom with a bucket. The K600 Rhino's demining depth is up to 30 centimetres.
