According to the famous analyst of KGI Securities, Min-Chi Kuo, who rarely makes mistakes in his forecasts for Apple devices, the official announcement of the updated 9.7-inch tablet iPad Air 3 and compact model iPhone with a 4-inch screen will be held in the first half of this year.

In recent leaks, the company's new smartphone is referred to as the iPhone 5se. It will receive a metal case with the design of the iPhone 6s, the performance of the A8 processor, and the screen with a diagonal of 4 inches will be protected by a curved on the edges of the glass 2.5D. Other suggested features include two 8 MP and 1.2 MP cameras, a Touch ID fingerprint reader and an NFC chip for contactless payment through Apple Pay. The expert believes that the device does not have any innovations, and therefore its sales will not be too high. Meanwhile, the network got live photos iPhone 5se:

As for the iPad Air 3, there is practically no information on the tablet. Earlier, Min-Chi Kuo said that the gadget will not receive 3D Touch support, because Apple's chosen technology implementation option is not suitable for large screens. Both new items can be shown already at the spring presentation in March. According to rumors, sales of iPhone 5se start in April.

The analyst expects from Apple a report on record sales of smartphones in the fourth quarter of 2015. They are estimated at 77 million devices, but in the first quarter of this year, iPhone shipments will decrease by 29.7%, amounting to about 43 million units.
