Xiaomi's crowdsfunding started fundraising for Xprint Instant Mobile Photo Printer, a portable photo printer. With its help, you can print photos at any place and at any time, and thanks to the appendix with augmented reality pictures "come to life" on the screen of the smartphone.

What can he do?

The device uses a sublimation printing method, similar to the Zink technology. The Kyocera print head transfers the image to paper with an accuracy of 0.087 mm, the resolution is 300 dpi. Cards with the size of 86x54 mm can be stored for decades without fading. The user simply buys cassettes for 20 pictures. The data is transmitted via Bluetooth, for an easy connection there is an NFC chip.

The application for Android and iOS allows you to snap to a photo of the video, a kind of analogue of Live Photos on the iPhone. For a split second, the smartphone recognizes the picture and turns it into a virtual screen, on which the selected video will be played. The system works without delays - the moves of the card are monitored with a frequency of 120 frames per second and the accuracy of up to half a pixel of the video.

The size of the photo printer is 133x80x27 mm with a weight of 237 grams. Built-in battery capacity of 650 mAh is designed to print 20 photos.
