The built-in antivirus Windows 10 will receive an important update in March 2018.
What is known
Microsoft decided to get rid of applications that clean the registry and optimize the operation of the PC. Such programs scan the user's computer and report bugs that can be fixed by purchasing the full version of the application.
The company believes that such programs only harm users. Windows Defender will qualify such applications as "unwanted software" and delete. The update will be available on March 1. Before that, developers can test their applications on the Windows Defender site.
