Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro began to be updated to MIUI 9.2
Xiaomi has started to update one of the best-selling smartphones Redmi Note 3 Pro to MIUI 9. This is still "nightly stable build", but most users have already confirmed that it is quite suitable for daily use. The global stable version should be released soon.
What changed
The firmware received the build number MIUI 9.2.4.0.MHOMIEK and weighs 290 MB. Unfortunately, this version is still based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, but at the same time it was installed the latest security patch for January 2018. The update corrected a lot of bugs of the previous version and added all the innovations of MIUI 9. Also updated the Gallery application, added Mi Video, File Explorer and Mi Drop.
It's nice to know that Xiaomi continues to update its old smartphones , unlike other brands.
Smartphone Features
The device came out in 2016. It immediately became very popular, thanks to the low price and productive processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 650. It has a good 5.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution. The market sold two versions of the device: 2/16 GB and 3/32 GB. The smartphone originally came with MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and later received an upgrade to MIUI 8 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
