Chinese start-up ZMI, known to us as a manufacturer of portable batteries Xiaomi, introduced a brand-name wireless charger with the uncomplicated name ZMI Wireless Charger. Funds for the issue decided to collect on crowdfanding through the site JD.com.

What it is?

The wireless charging of the round form is enclosed in a metal case with a top panel of glass with a 2.5D effect, that is, with rounded edges. ZMI does not report the standards, but Qi support is definitely there. The novelty can work with the iPhone X, iPhone 8/8 Plus, Samsung flagships (starting with Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5), Lumia smartphones and some Nexus. Naturally, this is not a complete list - only the most popular models are listed.

The built-in protection system ZMI Wireless Charger is automatically turned off if it detects nearby metal objects such as rings, keys and coins. Charging works even if the smartphone is "dressed" in a cover. In the box, the manufacturer put an 18-watt power adapter and cable.

Question price

On kraudfandingovogo campaign wireless charging can be snatched for about 9-16 US dollars. The standard price of ZMI Wireless Charger is 20.5 dollars. Not cheaper than the devices of famous brands - Anker has a similar PowerPort for $ 21, and presumably the original old Samsung model costs on AliExpress only $ 7 . But the competitors in the bundle usually do not have a network adapter.
