Apple says it is not using titanium from Russia in the production of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
This year, one of the innovations of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphones is a side frame made of titanium. And although this is far from the most important part of the gadgets, we are interested in the origin of this material.
Here's What We Know
Our colleagues from iLounge sent an enquiry to Apple and asked if it uses titanium from Russia, which has some of the largest deposits of this material, in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. And they got a negative answer.
Apple assured that its suppliers do not source titanium from the aggressor country. But where exactly this material comes from, the company did not specify.
By the way, unlike Chinese manufacturers, Apple has withdrawn from the Russian market and officially does not do business there.
