Apple plans to switch to chips from Intel

Apple plans to conclude an exclusive contract with Intel for the supply of chips for the iPhone.

Editions MacRumors and 9to5Mac report that the next generation of iPhone will receive Intel's cellular chips. Thus, the company will break and so strained relations with Qualcomm, having concluded an exclusive contract with Intel.

Prior to this, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that Intel will supply 70% of the communication chips for the iPhone, while Qualcomm - 30%. Now, the "blue" will cover 100% of Apple's orders. At the same time, it is not known whether this will be a long-term cooperation. Perhaps, in the future, "kuppertinovtsy" will again turn to Qualcomm, and may even switch to their own communication chips.
