Google is working on its own Yeti streaming platform

According to the profile edition of The Information, Google is developing its own streaming gaming service, code-named Yeti.

Almost like PlayStation Now

In its work, the Google Yeti should look like a similar Sony service called PlayStation Now. For a monthly fee gamers get access to the database of games on remote servers and run them on their devices. In the case of the Yeti, originally the broadcast had to go through the Chromecast player, but how through it you can play with the joystick is not exactly known. Then Google decided not to reinvent the wheel, but to release its game console, through which players can run games with Google Yeti.

When to expect

It is known that over the streaming service and the console the company has been working for 2 years. This is tightly occupied by Vice President of Engineering Majd Bakar and vice president of product management Mario Keiroz. According to rumors, the launch of the product was scheduled for Christmas holidays last year, but something did not grow together.
