Archos introduced three budget smartphones Core 55S, Core 57S and Core 60S

Archos has released three new models of smartphones. The novelties entered the Core S series and received the names Core 55S, Core 57S and Core 60S.

With dimensions of 50 × 71 × 9.4 mm and weight of 169 grams, the smartphone Archos Core 55S received a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 960 by 480 pixels, 1 gigabyte of operational and 16 gigabytes of internal memory. The main camera is equipped with a module of 8 megapixels, the front one at 2 megapixels. During the work in the response, the battery is 2300 mAh.
The Core 57S model received the same characteristics as the younger brother. It differs only in a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1440 by 720 pixels and a battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh. Dimensions of the model - 150 × 71 × 9.4 mm, and weight 169 grams.

With a size of 161.8 × 77 × 8.9 mm and a weight of 183 grams, the Archos Core 60S was equipped with a 6-inch screen, 1 gigabyte of RAM and 16 gigabytes of ROM. The main dual camera is equipped with modules for 13 and 2 megapixels. The front camera received an image sensor at 5 megapixels. For the duration of the operation, a 3000 mAh battery is responsible.
All three models are equipped with a Spreadtrum SC9850 processor (28 nm with Mali-T820 MP1 graphics) and run on Android 7.0.

Release date and price

Archos Core 55S, Core 57S and Core 60S will cost 90, 100 and 130 euros respectively. All three new products the company Archos will show in more detail at the exhibition MWC 2018.

What to expect

We are waiting for cheap, unexpectedly cute (as for budget employees) models, with adequate for their cost characteristics. In addition to the dual main camera in the older model, smartphones do not follow the trend in the mobile market, that's why they are more suitable for those who do not care or beginners.
