Google tests accelerated downloads inside Gmail

Google is planning to expand the functionality of Gmail. The company began experiments with Accelerated Mobile Pages, which will accelerate the loading of web pages on smartphones.

What was shown

Gmail will now become faster and more functional. Since AMP is updated dynamically, there is no need to constantly update the page while waiting for a response. If you need to coordinate the dates with the customer, then you can simply share with it the segment of your Google Calendar. Also, you no longer have to go to another page to respond to requests - this can be done inside Gmail.

Now the technology is available only to developers and some resources like Pinterest, Doodle and Booking. They will test new opportunities and consider ways of using them.
