The US Air Force paid a record amount for the discovery of vulnerabilities of state websites.

HackerOne showed the results of the Hack the Air Force 2.0 competition, which was held at the end of 2017. Participants found 106 vulnerabilities in 300 websites of government agencies. In the spring of the same year, hackers discovered 207 vulnerabilities.

Such an event cost the Military forces a round sum. Hackers earned $ 103 thousand, and the most "expensive bug" was estimated at $ 12 thousand. The event also set a personal record. On the first day, the military and 24 hackers found 55 vulnerabilities in 9 hours. Found "holes" immediately patched.

HackerOne has been working with the US Air Force for a long time, and since the launch in 2016, hackers have discovered 3,000 vulnerabilities.
