Archos Vision 215: a stylish candybar with a frameless display and a price tag of 300 euros

The company Archos announced its first candy bar Vision 215. The novelty stands out for its stylish appearance and cheap price tag.

What is inside

Monoblock Archos Vision 215 is a fashionable, thin and frameless Full HD-display of 21.5 inches, "under the hood" of which is the main filling. The heart of the Vision 215 is the 4-core Intel Cherry Trail Atom x5-Z8350 processor. The processor was created using 14-nm technology, its maximum clock speed is 1.92 GHz, and the power consumption is 2 watts. There are also 4 gigabytes of RAM such as DDR3L 1600, 32-gigabyte flash memory, an Ethernet controller and an HDMI input for connecting an optional external monitor.

Archos Vision 215 also provided Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n modules and Bluetooth 4.0, stereo speakers, five USB ports and a standard slot for microSD cards. Manages the monoblock of Windows 10 Home Edition.

Release date and price

A full-scale presentation of Archos Vision 215 will take place at the MWC 2018. The novelty will be available in May this year at a price of 300 euros.

What to expect

We expect a cheap, stylish and adequate for the characteristics of a candy bar. This model is not easily transferred (for example in a bag or backpack) like other competitors without screens, but it has a very nice price and an adequate set of ports for working in any formats.
