Flashback
Android has three levels of biometric authentication models: class 1 (Convenient), class 2 (Weak), and class 3 (Secure). All three can be used to unlock your device, but only Class 2 and Class 3 are suitable for in-app authentication. Plus, Class 2 can't integrate with key storage. In other words, Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are the only Android smartphones on the market with Class 3 biometric authentication.
