LG announces updated versions of smartphones K8 and K10
LG decided not to wait for MWC 2018 and announced updated versions of budget smartphones LG K8 and K10.
Characteristics
Both smartphones have changed a bit in design. Transferring the logo of the company to the rear, the color of the conversation speaker became black in the color of the front panel. The back side is made of glossy metal. Unfortunately, both novelties have all the same wide frames around the display.
Let's start with the younger model - K8. The smartphone received a 5-inch HD screen and a main camera at 8 megapixels. Frontal, in turn, wide-angle at 5 megapixels. For the performance of the device meets the quad - core processor with a clock speed of 1.3 GHz and 2 GB of RAM type LPDDR3. The built-in drive in the K8 is 16 GB, but there is also support for memory cards up to 32 GB. In the device, unfortunately, the old OS is installed - Android Nougat. The smartphone is powered by a 2500 mAh battery.
The older model received three versions: K10α, K10 and K10 +. All three have the same IPS screen - 5.2 inches, a battery for 3000 mAh and an eight-core chip with a frequency of 1.5 GHz. Differences are only in the camera and memory. The youngest version is equipped with 8 megapixel main camera and 5 megapixel frontal. The smartphone has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM (there is support for microSD up to 2 TB). K10 and K10 + have already received 13 Mp main module and 8 Mp front. But the differences are only in RAM and ROM: 2/3 GB and 16/32 GB. Of the features, all three versions have an NFC module for contactless payments.
Price list
LG did not announce the price of the devices, but it is also clear that they will be inexpensive. All other details can be found at the MWC 2018, which will be held from February 26 to March 1.
