Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact will receive full-screen design

On the eve of the exhibition MWC 2018 on the Internet there is a huge amount of rumors and leaks about future innovations. For example, we have repeatedly written about the flagship smartphones Sony. But today, two days before the announcement, Evan Blass (Evan Blass) published the first official render Xperia XZ2, and also specified some characteristics.

Design

It was done! Now the flagship of Sony will get a new design. The image shows that the smartphone screen with a small frame. But here the logo under it, unfortunately, still left. The back of the device has completely changed, it is not flat as before, but already with rounded edges. The camera, LED flash and laser autofocus are placed vertically in the middle. It also shows that the fingerprint scanner "moved" from the side to the back (it would be better to leave it at the same place). The camera shutter, power and volume buttons are visible on the right side.

Characteristics

As expected, the Xperia XZ2 will receive the Snapdragon 845 top processor. The smartphone will be equipped with a 5.7-inch screen and stereo speakers. Also, thanks to the glass case, the device supports wireless charging technology. For autonomy, the 3180 mAh battery responds. The camera in Xperia XZ2 is the same as it was in XZ Premium - at 19 megapixels with aperture f / 1.8.

Evan Blass also mentioned the younger model - Xperia XZ2 Compact. The smartphone will differ diagonal screen (5 inches), battery (2870 mAh), the camera and the lack of stereo speakers.

When to expect

Both smartphones will be shown this Sunday, as part of the MWC 2018 exhibition. The novelties will go on sale in March.
