Barbra Streisand cloned her favorite dog. Twice
Legend of Hollywood Barbra Streisand cloned his dead dog twice to Samantha. The singer told about this in an interview with Variety magazine.
Is it like that at all?
A favorite 14-year-old cotone-de-tulear breed died last year, but before the death the dog took the cells from the mouth and stomach. Later they raised two identical puppies. Clicks Miss Violet and Miss Scarlett actress chose by the color of the costumes, with which she distinguishes clones. Before this, a distant relative of Samantha, Miss Fanny, appeared in the family, so now three fluffy lumps run around the house:

The statement of Streisand caused an ambiguous reaction of the public, as, indeed, any story about the cloning of animals. The singer admitted that the children have different characters.
When cloning, the animal's DNA is transferred to the egg, an embryo is grown from it and placed in a surrogate mother. As clones grow in other conditions, this is not an exact copy of the pet, and spent 50-100 thousand dollars per procedure may not meet expectations.
